Across your first days, you’ll gain strength and altitude with full acclimatization stops in Namche Bazaar (3,440 m / 11,286 ft) and Dingboche (4,410 m / 14,468 ft). You’ll wander through rhododendron forests, cross suspension bridges above the Dudh Koshi River, and soak up Sherpa culture in teahouse villages where butter tea and dal bhat await.
Deep in the Gokyo Valley, you’ll explore six glacier-fed lakes, climbing Ngozumpa’s moraine ridge to reach the third lake at 4,790 m / 15,728 ft.
