Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Paro & Cultural Exploration
Arrive at Paro International Airport, where our guide will receive you. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and a welcome drink. Visit Paro Rinpung Dzong, a stunning fortress with intricate Bhutanese architecture. Explore the National Museum of Bhutan to learn about the country’s history and culture. Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples. Enjoy a traditional Bhutanese dinner with a cultural dance performance.
Day 2 : Drive to Shana & Trek to Thangthangka
After breakfast, drive from Paro to Shana (2,850m), the starting point of the Jomolhari Trek. Trek through dense forests of pine, rhododendron, and oak trees along the Paro River. Pass through remote Bhutanese villages and spot traditional wooden houses. Reach Thangthangka (3,610m) for an overnight stay at a campsite.
Day 3 : Trek to Jangothang Base Camp (4,080m)
Begin the ascent through high-altitude meadows with stunning views of Mt. Jomolhari. Walk through yak pastures and encounter local nomads and their herds. Arrive at Jangothang Base Camp, one of Bhutan’s most scenic camping sites. Rest and acclimatize while enjoying breathtaking mountain scenery. nal Airport for your departure flight.
Day 4 : Explore Jangothang & Return Trek to Shana
Morning exploration of Jangothang with optional short hikes for better mountain views. Start the descent back, retracing the trek through lush valleys and forests. Overnight camping at Shana (2,850m).
Day 5 : Return to Paro & Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery
Drive back to Paro in the morning. Start a half-day hike to the Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang), Bhutan’s most iconic landmark. Explore the monastery perched dramatically on a cliffside at 3,120m. Return to Paro and enjoy a farewell dinner with Bhutanese delicacies.
Day 6 : Departure from Paro
Breakfast at the hotel with a final glimpse of Bhutan’s tranquil landscapes. Transfer to Paro International Airport for your departure flight.
