Our journey begins with a exhilarating flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a small town in the Khumbu region that serves as the gateway to the Everest region. From Lukla, we’ll trek through stunning Sagarmatha National Park,the highest national park in the world, and arrive at Namche Bazaar, where Sherpa village located at an altitude of 3,440 meters.We’ll spend a night or two in Namche Bazaar, exploring the sherpa culture, local sherpas’ food, local markets and monasteries while acclimating ourselves to the high altitude. After Namche Bazaar, we’ll continue our trek to Tengboche monastery , one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in the region which is located in khumbu district at 3,867 metres with a spectacular view of the Himalayan peaks of Tawache, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. From Tengboche,our hike will take us to Kala Patthar to catch the stunning views of the sunrise on Mt. Everest and other peaks.
